Cookie Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

1. The short version

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Little Ville (Edfact Learning Systems Private Limited) uses them for two things beyond making the site work: understanding how parents use the site, and measuring our advertising.

Nothing optional runs until you say yes. Analytics and advertising cookies stay switched off until you accept them on the banner. If you choose “Reject non-essential”, no analytics or advertising cookies are set at all. You can change your mind whenever you like:

2. Strictly necessary

This website sets no cookies of its own in this category. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (under lv_consent_v1) rather than in a cookie, so that we can honour it without tracking you. Our hosting provider may set short-lived technical cookies needed for security and load balancing.

These cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them.

3. Analytics — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics to see which pages parents read, which programmes they look at, and where they give up. We look at this in aggregate; we do not use it to work out who you are.

CookieSet byWhat it doesExpires
_gaGoogle AnalyticsAssigns a random ID to your browser so repeat visits are counted as one person rather than several.2 years
_ga_75GPSXR0P9Google Analytics 4Keeps track of your current session for our GA4 property (G-75GPSXR0P9).2 years
_gidGoogle AnalyticsDistinguishes browsers for short-term reporting.24 hours
_gat_*Google AnalyticsLimits how often requests are sent to Google. Stores no information about you.1 minute

Being straight with you about one thing: if you decline analytics, none of the cookies above are set and nothing is stored on your device — but Google's tag does still send one anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. It carries no identifier that persists, and it cannot be tied back to you or to a later visit. If you would rather Google received nothing at all, use Google's opt-out add-on or block the domain in your browser.

4. Advertising — only with your consent

We advertise Little Ville on Google, Facebook and Instagram. These cookies tell us which of those ads actually bring parents to us, and allow us to show our ads again to people who have visited this site (“remarketing”).

CookieSet byWhat it doesExpires

_fbpMeta (Facebook / Instagram)Set by the Meta pixel (ID 510092547446160). Lets us measure results from our Facebook and Instagram ads, and show Little Ville ads to people who have visited this site.90 days
IDE, test_cookieGoogle (doubleclick.net)Set on Google's own domain when advertising cookies are allowed, to measure and target ads.Up to 13 months

On children: our advertising is aimed at parents and guardians, not at children. We do not knowingly target advertising at children, and we do not track children across websites. This site is not intended for use by children.

5. Cookies set by other companies

Some pages embed a Google Maps frame so you can find your nearest centre, and our header and footer link out to our social profiles. When a Google Maps frame loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Simply linking to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or X does not set their cookies — those load only if you click through.

The third parties named in this policy are Google (cookie policy) and Meta (cookie policy).

6. How to change or withdraw your choice

  • On this site: use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or the button in section 1 above. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
  • In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other websites.
  • Google: you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser add-on, and control ad personalisation in your Google account.
  • Meta: control ad settings in your Facebook / Instagram ad preferences.

7. Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a tracking tool, we will update the tables above and ask you to choose again. This policy was last updated on 17 July 2026.
